		<description>we replaced our flat roof with a foam roof.  It filled in the "dish" that made a pool on rainy days and also increased our insulation so the house is warmer in winter and cooler in summer.  We had it done in August (that's the dry season in California, so it's cheaper to get roofs done than in the wet winter), and it cost about the same as tar and gravel.

maintenance is to paint the roof every 5 years.</description>
