      You don’t say where you live or type of roof? Did you check with your electrical company? They have guide lines and rebates most of the time.

      there is a new type of metallic aluminum paint that is colored white.

      plus you need to get some eco friendly roof, as in my opinion, it is difficut to regulate temperature by metallic roofs, they take in a lot of heat, and discard a lot of heat as well.
