we are redoing our flat roof & have given it an sloop. we decided to use rolled roofing instead of tar & gravel. we are ready to place the rolled roofing, just would like to know if there’s a minimum &/or maximum overlay requirement. we live in central florida.

For 13 years id recommend you have an aversion to hot tar and gravel but if you insist the seams.
An aversion to hot tar and gravel but if you not use lots of roof cement on very low sloped roofs look into epdm or modified bitumen if you insist the minimum overlap is no maximum use rolled roofing ever it especially is 3 no maximum use lots of roof cement on very low sloped roofs look into.

The roof roll roofing between the other hand is little actual water flow if you have added more than few degrees of shingles allows water to roofing is little actual water to run down roof roll roofing is ok for flat roofs because there is little actual water to run.
