What is the best roof paint/coating to use for a metal (tin) roof?

I have a house with a metal roof and it needs to be painted with some kind of roof coating. I can’t afford to have the roof completly re-done with shingles.

I painted it previously (3 years ago) with some kind of silver/tar stuff but I was hoping there was something else out there.
