What are Roofing Salesman Pay Structures?

Hi, I’m running a roofing company in Dallas FT Worth. We have sale people working for us currently. They are making 45% of the profit on a job. I would like to know what the going rate or best practice is for competitive pay structures for roofing sales people. i.e. 10% of the contract, etc Can some help me please? Thanks in advance.
