Get a long rope, put a piece of angle iron at the roof peak and run the rope over it… carry 2-3 cement blocks to the roof, tie them to one end. wrap the other around the shingle bundles. Place the rope over the angle iron (saves the roof line from rope burn….) When you are ready, let the cement blocks down (easily - don’t just drop them…) off the other side of the roof. Sounds like a lot of work, but it is easier than carrying the bundles up… you still have to pull the cement back up for the next load of bundles… but not as bad pulling them up as trying to get the bundles up a ladder…
did it, roofed by myself.
You can rent a ladder conveyor that will make life a lot easier. This way you can load in different areas and only bring up what you need, as needed. Here is a link
