Looking for alternative roofing ideas for a trailer home?

Purchased an older(1990) Commodore trailer home and trying to fix it up for my kids and myself to live in. Don’t think the roof was ever “coated” and it has some rust spots which have resulted in leaks. I am looking to discuss alternative roofing solutions if anyone has any ideas or things they have tried, I would like to hear from you.

      The hole size and depth then id go with shingles myself they could patch up the hole size and depth then id put weather watch guard over the hole size and depth then id put weather watch guard over the holes and this is some sticky stuff.
