1 floor house.
Thank you all for your answers. I have just one more question: I want red for the one I decide on. Does anyone know if either one will fade over time?

The asphalt shingles on my home replaced with metal roofing and we love it.

Asphalt shingles have come a long way and are very durable and long lasting. Metal roofing you will never need to replace in your lifetime, or your children’s, probably longer…….

No metal roofs are not as good unless you get a heavy snow load? Then thier good as they let the snow slide off and relieve the weight of the snow, it also depends on who it was designed
