Just found out at a corner of one bedroom, there are painting cracks (an area of 1 foot by 1 foot almost fall out). It seems that it started from the celing. I can see water marks. Even some mold can be seen.
When I look at the other area, I saw a long cracking line along the upper window frame as well. No sure whether it is due to too dry or too wet condition, but should not be related to the first one.
I guess the roofing may got some damage from early storm or hail. Will this be covered by insurance (apparently too long after the incident)? Should I ask the insurance first or I let the roofing people to check whether they will file the claim for me. Should I leave the paint repair after the roof is checked to give the roofing people more clue?
All in all, painting, roofing, insurance, where should i start first?
