Is the government tax rebate for energy efficient replacement of roofs and windows a one time slush pile, or can you qualify for $1500 for roofing and $1500 for windows?
One person mentioned $6000 which I found confusing. Another said must owe $1500 in taxes to qualify. I am assuming that means you have already paid in more than $1500 in federal tax money for the year to qualify to get up to $1500 of it back. If that is the case I surely do qualify in spades.
